The Big Show is a big deal for the Creative Alliance. It’s the alliance’s annual all-hung members’ show and a chance to see an incredible range of styles, media and voices. From Donald Edwards’ oddball-organic crayon rubbings to Gene Garcia’s pop take on Betty and Veronica, there’s something for everyone. Also check out Kini Collins’ plaster and wire starling and Renee Tantillo’s rusty, welded figure. Through July 26. 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Free. Creative Alliance at The Patterson, 3134 Eastern Ave., Baltimore. 410-276-1651

WHO’S IN TOWN

Yes, they’re here, shipping down to Columbia. Boston hard-rockers Dropkick Murphys hit town, bringing their signature bagpipe-infused punk to Merriweather’s outdoor stage, while oldies-but-goodies Mighty Mighty Bosstones add a touch of ska to the night. 5:30 p.m. $35. Merriweather Post Pavilion, 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia. 410-481-7328.

Cape Town, South Africa-born Yoav is one of the more progressive singer-songwriters in dance-club culture. An electronic-music lover’s delight, Yoav transcends traditional notions of percussive-based folk with a radical style. Eric Scott opens at 8 p.m. $12.50. Rams Head On Stage, 33 West St., Annapolis.

Get down to a bit of offbeat local hip-hop with Baltimore’s World Badness. Jade Fox, Graffix, Muyi the High Priest and Midas also rock the house. 9 p.m. $10. The Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St., Baltimore. 410-662-0069.

Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Antreasian Gallery at The Avenue in Hampden, 111 W. 36th St., Baltimore. 410-235-4420.
