The Frida Kahlo exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is getting art lovers interested in works by women Latin American artists.

The joint exhibit features works by Mexican and other Latin American artists of Mission Grafica — the printmaking studio at the Mission Cutlural Center for Latino Arts — as well as the artists of San Francisco Women Artists, a nonprofit group with a mission to further women’s representation in the field of visual fine arts.

The juried all-media exhibition features sculpture, jewelry, paintings, photography and greeting cards. The show runs Wednesday through Aug. 2; an opening reception is Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
