Burlingame

Pipe scheme: A man with a pipe was walking up and down the 1000 block of Chula Vista Avenue looking into cars before 1:20 a.m. on June 13.

San Bruno

Exhausted: Two feet of exhaust pipe was stolen from a white Toyota pickup truck before 1:44 p.m. on June 14.

Just FYI: At 8:19 p.m. June 17, a caller reported that a neighbor who is on the Megan’s Law list was following his girlfriend and him on Shell Boulevard. The caller refused to speak with an officer in person but “just wanted to let the Police Department know.”

South City

Green thumb and sticky fingers: Petty theft occurred at 8:03 p.m. June 16 at Costco Wholesalers on El Camino Real when an older, tall man driving a white Cadillac stole plants from the store.

San Mateo

Raging granny: At 3:16 p.m. June 17, a caller reported that her neighbor’s grandmother threw hot water on the grandchildren and chased them on La Selva Street.

Redwood City

Backpack taken: A theft of a backpack occurred at 9:02 a.m. June 14 at SamTrans on Brewster Avenue. The suspect was on a bike.

Sandal hater: A caller said a gang member wearing a blue bandanna walking at 10:17 a.m. June 14 southbound on Madrone Street toward the park called him names for wearing sandals and said that he was going to be disciplined if he wore them.

BevMo theft: At 11:08 a.m. June 14, a caller reported a shoplifter at BevMo on El Camino Real, who took off on Maple Street by Franklin Street and dropped a bottle in the bushes on Maple.

Sunday July 06, 2008 at 1530 on Hudson St. Redwood City: An Asian man possibly Chinese in his 50's, wearing slippers with white socks and shorts, driving a larger black Mercedes Benz pulled out of 279 Hudson St driveway after viewing an open house and hit a Silver Gray BMW 330ci 2004 without stopping for exchange of identification. Damage to his car would be on his right side of his rear bumper if you are facing his bumper. If you can identify this car or man with this information please email me at tuscany0806@yahoo.com

That is right. Turn those gang leaders in. They force people to be in their gang and they tell them to go do various crimes. Make them scared of you - not you of them. Turn them in to your local police stations. Sick of those old guys going into the neighborhood and getting those young guys to do their crimes. Report the gang leaders. Get a clue.
