The senior also hit .326 with five homers and 39 RBIs while starting all 57 games for the Dons and was one of three USF players to be named to the All-WCC team. Railey ends his Dons career tied for third all time in hits (239), fourth in walks (104), sixth in doubles (42), ninth in runs (129) and 13th in batting average (.328).
Joining Railey on the first team are freshman pitcher Matt Lujan and senior outfielder Kyle Morgan. The left-handed Lujan went 7-2 with a 3.19 ERA, while Morgan hit .298 with six home runs and 50 RBIs.
Lujan and outfielder Connor Bernatz (.347, two home runs, 26 RBIs) are on the All-Freshman team. Senior left-hander Matt Baugh (5-3, 4.00 ERA) and senior first baseman-pitcher Mitchell Bialosky (.326, eight home runs, 38 RBIs batting; 5-6, 4.50 ERA, five saves pitching) are honorable mention.
Pepperdine junior outfielder Eric Thames is the conference’s Player of the Year, while San Diego junior left-hander Brian Matusz is the Pitcher of the Year. San Diego’s Rich Hill is the Coach of the Year.
