San Mateo County (Map, News) - These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.
Ice man cometh: Someone was taking doors off of freezers behind a Starbucks on the 1200 block of Broadway at 9:06 p.m. on May 5.
Stick a fork in it: Someone put 100 to 150 plastic forks in a man’s lawn on the 2300 block of Trenton Drive before 7:34 a.m. on May 4.
Shots fired: A caller reported hearing two or three shots fired from the parking lot of A Street and El Camino Real at 1:45 a.m. May 3 after a party at the Moose Lodge.
Garbage gripes: A caller requested advice at 1:59 p.m. May 2 on Vintage Park Drive regarding suspects who continually dump garbage into the caller’s Dumpster. Officer attempted contact with subjects responsible with negative results.
Not what it looks like: A secondhand report of a subject sleeping in a vehicle and beer cans tossed everywhere occurred at 9:40 a.m. May 2 on Bounty Drive. A check on the subject seemed fine, and the beer cans in the back of the pickup were for recycling.
Fire: Arson was reported at 11:23 p.m. May 4 when a transient started fires behind Travelers Inn on El Camino Real and Hickey Boulevard.
Loud argument: A party reported a couple of adults yelling at each other and heard sounds like things breaking in the house. One adult was yelling “call the police” at 6:02 p.m. May 4 on North Claremont Street.
Pyrotechnics: A resident reported that two large firework explosions were set off at 11:19 p.m. May 2 in front of her house on Eaton Avenue. No subjects or vehicles were seen, but the explosions lit up her front room and were possibly larger than M80s.

Sunday July 06, 2008 at 1530 on Hudson St. Redwood City: An Asian man possibly Chinese in his 50's, wearing slippers with white socks and shorts, driving a larger black Mercedes Benz pulled out of 279 Hudson St driveway after viewing an open house and hit a Silver Gray BMW 330ci 2004 without stopping for exchange of identification. Damage to his car would be on his right side of his rear bumper if you are facing his bumper. If you can identify this car or man with this information please email me at tuscany0806@yahoo.com

That is right. Turn those gang leaders in. They force people to be in their gang and they tell them to go do various crimes. Make them scared of you - not you of them. Turn them in to your local police stations. Sick of those old guys going into the neighborhood and getting those young guys to do their crimes. Report the gang leaders. Get a clue.

Hillary Clinton would make a great president. Hillary is a straight forward individual who speaks for all and not just the well connected. People are being threatened and forced to vote for her opponent. If he is the candidate - democrats for McCain.
