LOS ANGELES (Map, News) - Authorities say a commuter train hit a sport utility vehicle in Los Angeles, leaving the driver with moderate injuries.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says the SUV hit the Metro Blue Line train at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday just south of downtown.
The SUV driver was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
One direction of the rail line was shut down for two hours.
There were no reports of injuries from the train.
