PAROLE, Md. (Map, News) - The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is reporting a gas leak at the same construction site where a worker was killed in a crane accident last week.

Authorities say a four-inch natural gas line was struck shortly after 9 a.m. at the site of two residential towers at Annapolis Towne Centre near Parole. More than 100 construction workers were evacuated and entrances to the site were closed.

It is not known if the incident involved the same construction team involved in last week's fatal accident. The worker was crushed in a crane being used for the 12-story Mariner Bay residential tower at the complex.
