WASHINGTON (Map, News) - According to Clorox, studies have shown that lavender has a relaxing effect on people. So, to take a little stress out of the cleaning process, and try the new wipes that promise to be stronger and thicker.

I test-drove the lavender wipes on my kitchen which admittedly, hadn’t had the white-glove test done on it in some time. The wipes not only held up through cleaning the stove, refridgerator and something unidentified in the sink, they smelled glorious. Ah, there’s nothing wrong with the strong scent of bleach, but it was refreshing to have a lighter smell to work with.

Like all Clorox disinfecting wipes, the lavender ones kill 99.9 percent of bacteria, including E. coli and the flu virus and are widely available.
