Jessup, Md. (Map, News) - Police have identified the four people killed in a crash Tuesday morning in the Jessup area.

The victims included a Laurel woman and two of her daughters. A third daughter was critically injured.

Howard County police say 42-year-old Rhonda White was killed in the crash along with her 24-year-old daughter, Stephanie Dorsey, and her seven-month-old daughter, Riley Smith.

Also killed was 31-year-old Andrew Sturgil of Cumberland, Kentucky. Sturgil, a friend of Dorsey's, was behind the wheel when his car crossed the center line and collided with a box truck.

White's three-year-old daughter, Rachel Hatt, remained in critical condition Wednesday at Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Police say the girl was wearing a seat belt but was not secured in a child safety seat, which would have made her injuries less severe.

Police still aren't sure why Sturgil crossed the center line, and the crash remains under investigation.
