SAN JOSE (Map, News) - Senior Jazmine Jackson scored 13 points to lead a balanced scoring effort as the Sacred Heart Cathedral girls’ basketball team, ranked No. 1 in the country, rolled past Presentation 62-43 Friday in a West Catholic Athletic League game.

Junior Tierra Rogers played for the first time since her father was shot and killed outside of the Sacred Heart gym Jan. 12. She scored two points on a first-quarter basket.

“She did the best she possibly could. She reacted like a hero,” Irish coach Brian Harrigan said. “She’s been a champ. … She’s done more than most adults could possibly imagine doing.”

Ki-Ki Moore added 12 points and Lauren Bell and Kamila Jackson 10 each for the Irish (17-0, 7-0 WCAL).
