Carroll loses power in snowstorm

Carroll County (Map, News) - Carroll County government, schools and library Web sites have lost power in today's snowstorm. Some employees’ e-mail services are down, and phones at Taneytown, Mount Airy and North Carroll libraries are also out.

Officials do not know when services will be restored.

Umm, I went to City Schools and we NEVER EVER got out for snow...EVER...(we'll VERY rarely) I used to always wonder if the Hereford Zone ever went TOO school in the winter.
