Bay Area (Map, News) - A high wind advisory issued for Napa, Sonoma, and Marin counties will be in effect tonight, National Weather Service forecaster Steve Anderson said.

Winds from 30 mph to 35 mph are expected in hills and high terrain within the three counties, according to officials.

Strong gusts of wind can make driving difficult for high profile vehicles, which are encouraged to use extra caution, according to officials.

The advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. today through 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to officials.
