A female Morgan student was celebrating her birthday around midnight with friends when she went outside Thurgood Marshall dormitory and started arguing with a man “who began harassing her,” said Jarrett Carter, a university spokesman.
The female student then called three of her male friends to come outside and talk with the harasser and that’s when the stabbings occurred, he said.
Two of the victims were treated and released from Good Samaritan Hospital, and the third is in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital with injuries authorities described as non-life-threatening.
It is still unclear whether the attacker was also a student, Carter said.
As of 11 a.m., the university had not alerted students to the incident, but planned to do so, he said.
