REDWOOD CITY (Map, News) - Santa Claus is coming to Redwood City early this year with the Hometown Holidays celebration Saturday.
According to the city, the family-style celebration will feature an ice sculpture demonstration, live musical entertainment and a children’s holiday parade. A holiday boutique and other vendor booths will be set up as well.
Santa Claus will be available for photos, and the event will be topped off with the annual tree lighting ceremony and holiday fireworks show.
As an extra bonus, this year Courthouse Square will have a screen set up for an outdoor viewing of the movie “Polar Express.” The celebration will start downtown at 10 a.m.
