Bay Area recruiters to increase staffing in 2008

Bay Area (Map, News) - A majority of Bay Area recruiters and human resource managers, 59 percent, said they plant to increase staffing and recruitment activities in 2008, a survey by job search web site Jobfox found.

Nearly half (47 percent) expect their recruiting budgets to increase next year, while 46 percent said their recruiting budgets would decrease or stay the same.

Among those surveyed, 28 percent said they planned to target retirees for hiring in 2008, while 20 percent were recruiting stay at home moms and dads.
