Vallejo girl shot in murder suicide in critical condition

Vallejo police said 41-year-old Vernon Val Watson fatally shot his 38-year-old wife, Stacey Denice Owens-Watson, and the couple’s daughter, Brooklyn, before shooting himself at the family’s home at 370 Carousel Drive shortly before midnight. Owens-Watson’s 10-year-old son was home at the time but fled to a neighbor’s house, police said.
Solano County coroner’s office Deputy Adrian Garcia said Owens-Watson and Watson both died of a single gunshot wound to the head.
Vallejo police Lt. Rick Nichelman said this morning that Owens had previous arrests for misdemeanor domestic battery in 1999 in Oakland that did not involve Owens-Watson.
Nichelman said there was “marital discord” at the couple’s Vallejo residence, but there were no arrests.
The couple apparently had guests to their home on Thanksgiving, Nichelman said, but there was an argument between the two about Watson taking custody of Brooklyn.
Watson used a weapon that was in the house to shoot his wife, his daughter and then himself, Nichelman said. He said police do not expect the girl to survive.

baltimore latino population is growing dominicans mexicans cental americans they are goning in to poor areas of cherry hill east baltimore west baltimore but they have a plan to to have open jobs for thir own people the baltimore city latino population is at 38,000 right now but in 2 or 3 years it well be at 45 to 50, 000 in the city they are good people just like us latinos and african americans need to be united as one lets work to make baltimore a better city we can do that

Mr. Licht tries to imply that there are are no corrolaries between hip hop/rap and violence. His best evidence is a comparison to Ballroom dancing! Typically apologistic with nary an intelligent or useful thing to add. Hey at least I am not making excuses for scum, yet I must admit that neither am I adding anything usefule, as there is nothing useful to say for Team Hip Hop in the first place. To paraphrase and address Mr. Licht, "Leave attempts at intelligent discussion to those capable of it and stick to burger flipping."

There's an easy way to deal with this. Declare street gangs as terrorist organizations if 2 or more members have been convicted of a homicide. Make a law declearing membership in a known terrorist organization to be a felony with a minimum 10 years in prison. Lock them up in solitary confinement and ban visits by family menbers on the grounds of security. Expand the "implied consent" law to allow anyone in the company of a known terrorist/gang member to be stopped and searched at will. Allow all vehicles, cash, and other assets of convicted terrorist/gang members to be seized and auctioned off to provide restitution for victims and their families. Initiate a massive effort to ensure that gang members are imprisoned, isolated, deprived of cash/assets, and ostracized, to make joining a gang as unattractive as possible to young people. Those who attack Lott's work disagree with his methods, but they are just as valid as any method used by "researchers" with an anti-gun agenda. Both the CDC and the National Academy of Sciences were unable to prove ANY link between gun ownership, gun control laws and crime levels. This was after studying 20 years worth of "data" mostly compiled by researchers with an anti-gun rights agenda. While there are no reliable stats to show that more guns = less crime, there are even fewer reliable stats that show less guns = less crime. Since gun ownership does not affect crime levels, any law abiding citizen who wishes one, should be able to own and carry a firearm of choice, while felons will still be barred (of course that doesn't work since some politicians coddle the criminal demographic in pandering for votes (Maryland and Baltimore in particular))
