Southwest to offer flight between SFO, Phoenix

S.F. AIRPORT (Map, News) - Southwest Airlines announced today that it is starting a new nonstop flight between San Francisco and Phoenix.

According to the airline, five daily roundtrip flights between San Francisco International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will begin March 8. Travelers can begin booking flights between the two cities today.

To promote the new flights, Southwest is offering a discounted rate of $99 for one-way flights between March 5 and May 9.

In addition to the new service between San Francisco and Phoenix, Southwest will add four additional daily nonstop roundtrip flights between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
