S.F. AIRPORT (Map, News) - Four new shops will open at San Francisco International Airport’s Terminal 3 by January 2008 under a contract awarded by the Airport Commission, including a new clothing retailer and locally-focused newsstands.

HMSHost, the firm that has managed concessions at SFO for more than 50 years, said Wednesday that it plans to launch the first airport outlet of apparel brand MNG by Mango in the United Departure Area of Terminal 3, the most heavily trafficked terminal in the airport. Golden Gate News Connection, also be located in United Departures, will include shops-within-shops featuring Brookstone travel accessories, A.G. Ferrari gourmet foods, a San Francisco grape wine selection and historical information from the San Francisco Chronicle.

SFO News Express, located on the United Ticketing level, will include a selection of local and regional titles for pre-security customers. A second SFO News Express will be located adjacent to a Starbucks Coffee on the Arrivals level.

HMSHost officials said they are investing $1.61 million in construction in Terminal 3.
