The suspects missed their intended targets and instead wounded the 2-year-old boy and his 45-year-old grandmother, Berry said. The boy sustained a gunshot wound to his foot, and his grandmother was shot in her upper thigh, according to Berry. They were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not considered life threatening. No arrests were made, and an investigation into the shooting is underway.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old San Pablo man remained in critical condition Tuesday after surviving a shooting in which he was hit with more than 12 rounds. Police say the man was shot Monday night after becoming involved in a disagreement.
