Of course MoveOn.org was attempting to supress free speach, just as Google does in China. Both groups are totalitarian 'movements' working to make free people slaves of the State.

Were it not for free speech guaranteed to every man woman and child under the First Amendment, MoveOn would never have been able to run their Petraeus ad. So it was utterly hypocritical and power mongering that they decided to take the same right away from others who would dare to criticize them. We have to be careful of these big groups with lots of lawyers who are all too happy to squelch the freedoms of the individual. This isn't much ado about nothing. They acted irrespective of the our constitutional rights. They deserve to be sued.

all media has bias, as we all have bias. Anyone who believes that news groups, media stations, or any other business does not have any political leanings is totally naive.I love google because of their product line, and regardless of if you like them , they could and do shape the popular opinion. Being a dicordian by nature, The fact that a corporation wields its power in such a way is heartening and fascinating. what I find amazing is that anyone is surprised by this

To the commenter who said "This is much to do about nothing! Slow news day?" - forgive me for being impertinent, but the phrase you're after is "...much ado about nothing..." Any time media bias and intentional control of media can be proven, in my opinion that isn't much ado about nothing. We need to make it plain that unless a media group calls itself an opinion group, bias and deliberate suppression of dissenting ideas isn't appropriate. I don't support any form of terrorism. This smacks of corporate terrorism to me.

Where is all the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the "Freedom of Speech" crowd now, oh silly me, this doesen't fit the paradigm; "Freedom of Speech" only applies to the those views that damage our country. Please keep up the good work of shining light in dark conners.

This has been building up for quite some time now and I am glad examiner is still doggedly pursuing this when others have simply stopped showing interest in this controversial matter.
