SAN FRANCISCO (Map, News) - San Francisco-based jazz vocalist Sony Holland performs with her quartet in a show called “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” in which she’ll debut material from her upcoming CD, which is being recorded with with Grammy-winning engineer Leslie Ann Jones.
Holland’s current album is "Out of This World." Performances are at 8 p.m. Oct. 25-27 and 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Empire Plush Room, York Hotel, 940 Sutter St., San Francisco.

I think Sony Holland has the most wonderful Jazz voice thats come along in years. I hear a little Sarah V mixed with her own style. I hope this girl gets some big time play.
