58 days ago- Kyle Morgan went 2-for-5 and was one of three USF players with a home run and Joey Railey extended his hitting streak to 16 games as the Dons baseball team used 15 hits to take down No. 8 San Diego 14-3 at Benedetti Diamond. The Dons (31-23, 12-9 West Coast Conference) took the three-game series against the Toreros, winning 6-3 on Saturday and losing on Friday 4-2.
68 days ago- New USF men’s basketball coach Rex Walters filled a big need when Eastern Arizona College point guard Dontae Bryant signed with the Dons. He joins Mitty forward Angelo Caloiaro as Walters’ first recruits. The 6-foot-2 sophomore from Portland, Ore., was seventh nationally among jucos with 7.9 assists. He also averaged 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.
