The Dons (31-23, 12-9 West Coast Conference) took the three-game series against the Toreros, winning 6-3 on Saturday and losing on Friday 4-2.
63 days ago- Outside hitters Kelly Burke, Lisa Morgan and Beth Perkins and middle hitter Sloane Williams have signed to join the San Francisco State women’s volleyball team, which is returning to action in the fall. Burke is a two-time All-Peninsula Athletic League team member who led Sequoia to a league title her junior year. She also played for Cañada College and Skyline College. Morgan, a La Quinta senior, is a three-time Desert Valley League First teamer. Perkins will be transferring from Mount Hood Community College (Ore.) while Williams will transfer from Lake Land College.

He joins Mitty forward Angelo Caloiaro as Walters’ first recruits. The 6-foot-2 sophomore from Portland, Ore., was seventh nationally among jucos with 7.9 assists. He also averaged 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.

The quarterback who led the Rams to a state championship as a freshman is expected to sign with Oregon this morning, coach George Rush said. Oregon beat out Auburn, Arizona and Arkansas for the services of the 6-foot, 205-pounder, who threw for more than 3,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.
