Center provides support, resources to young parents
- Gloria Redfern dropped out of school before having her first child. Today, the 38-year-old has five children between the ages of 2 to 19, and no where to go but up. Seeking her diploma, she turned to Baltimore County’s Young Parent Support Center.

Government offices to close on Election Day
- Baltimore County government offices as well as District and Circuit Courts will be closed on Tuesday for Election Day. Health Department clinics and senior centers will be closed, and CountyRide vans will not run. The county’s public libraries will be open normal hours. Parking meters must be fed as usual and parking garages are open. Voters at the Towson Library precinct may park for free in the library parking garage by getting their parking stub validated at the polling place.
