Kudos: Give blood in Burlingame and get registered to win free gas
Feel like they’re bleeding you dry at the gas pump? Here’s a chance to get even, courtesy of the American Red Cross and the Doubletree Hotel in Burlingame, which have teamed up for a blood drive with a fuel-efficient twist: Everyone donating blood between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 31 at the Doubletree site (835 Airport Blvd.) will be registered in a weekly drawing for one $100 gas gift card, and one final grand prize at the promotion’s end in September of a $1,000 card. All donors also receive a complimentary official Red Cross baseball cap. |
