Bruno could take job with company helped by state
When longtime Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno retires this week from the Senate seat he's held since 1976, he could land a job with a friend whose business grew fast in recent years with the help of millions of dollars in state contracts, according to two Republicans close to Bruno. The new commander of the U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet assumed his post overseeing the world's largest forward-deployed naval force in a ceremony Saturday at a port just south of Tokyo.
