A new spill has occurred in Alaska's Prudhoe Bay oil field, the Department of Environmental Conservation said Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009. The spill was discovered Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, by a BP oil field operator doing a routine inspection at a drill site.
