Business briefs: A new Fox Channel
Staff reports, The Examiner Oct 15, 2007 6:00 AM (786 days ago)SAN FRANCISCO Today, News Corp. (NWSA) starts the Fox Business Network. Two years in the making, the channel will challenge General Electric Co.’s (GE) CNBC. Rupert Murdoch has said his channel will aim at “Main Street” rather than Wall Street, while other executives have said CNBC is not friendly enough to business and focuses too much on scandal instead of positive corporate deeds.
