Brown was out to dinner Friday night when he got a disturbing call from his daughter: There was a Jeep in the pool of the family’s Spanish-style Ashburton home. Police said a man was fatally shot during an attempted robbery around midnight and crashed through a wall outside Brown’s house, landing in the pool. Brown said a male passenger — dressed as a woman — survived the crash. The Examiner interviewed Brown to learn more about the incident.
