Davis tops congressional money race

Flook, The Examiner Jul 17, 2007 12:00 AM (887 days ago)WASHINGTON Republican Tom Davis leads the pack in second-quarter fundraising among Northern Virginia congressmen, with just more than a million dollars on hand at the end of June, according to campaign finance reports posted online Monday. Davis is officially running for an eighth term representing District 11 but has expressed interest in seeking Sen. John Warner’s seat should the aging GOP legislator opt not to seek another term next year. The congressman raised $402,361 since April 1 and spent $187,368.
