It’s time for Bush to fight — and use his veto power
The Washington DC Examiner Newspaper, The Examiner Apr 26, 2007 3:00 AM (971 days ago)WASHINGTON President Bush should go to Fort Bragg, gather around him the brave men and women serving in the U.S. military and stand with them as he vetoes the Iraq emergency supplemental funding bill congressional Democrats send him. Then he should challenge Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to come to Bragg and explain to our troops why the Democratic leaders want to repeat the greatest mistake of the Vietnam War.
