Clint Reilly files response to Hearst Corp.'s motion
The Examiner Mar 24, 2007 6:00 AM (999 days ago)SAN FRANCISCO The San Francisco businessman and his lawyer, Joe Alioto, filed their response Friday to Hearst Corp. and MediaNews Group Inc.’s March 16 motion to toss out a bitter newspaper lawsuit. Hearst argued plaintiff Reilly has no legal standing because he’s not a frequent newspaper advertiser and doesn’t subscribe to the MediaNews papers. “To get standing, there’s no quantity that you have to buy,” Alioto replied, but their rebuttal is sealed because it references confidential earlier filings.
