Steve Eldridge, The Examiner Jul 21, 2006 2:00 AM (1233 days ago)BALTIMORE Remember a couple of months ago when we talked about ways to modify hybrid cars so that they would get almost 100 miles per gallon? Turns out several of the big auto manufacturers are getting the message and are working on production changes that would accomplish this. That includes bigger batteries that can be charged at any electric outlet and the braking system to recharge them.
