Steve Eldridge: Gas prices are changing, but our driving habits aren’t following suit

Gas is more expensive than it’s ever been in this country, yet people don’t seem to be changing the way they drive one bit. No, I didn’t expect that the highways would be suddenly overwhelmed by drivers maxing out at 50 mph, but I am stunned by SUV drivers who still jam the gas pedal the second the light turns green or feel it necessary to jump ahead of the one or two cars in their way before the exit ramp.
