Victory for community activism
The Examiner May 29, 2008 5:00 AM (556 days ago)SAN FRANCISCO I’m writing to inform you (if you’re not already aware) of a large-scale condo and commercial development being proposed in the Outer Sunset at 2800 Sloat Blvd. This five-story complex is proposed to house 56 condo units with approximately 23,000 square feet of commercial space encompassing the entire block of Sloat between 46th and 47th avenues. This is all within a small residential neighborhood of single-family homes. This density not only will create a parking and traffic nightmare for the neighborhood, but will also add increased noise, pollution and public-safety concerns.
