Celebration time for marriage advocates
Mike Aldax, The Examiner May 16, 2008 3:00 AM (583 days ago)SAN FRANCISCO As soon as the state Supreme Court announced Thursday morning that same-sex couples had a constitutional right to marry, the celebration began on the steps of City Hall with crowds of gay men and lesbians cheering and sobbing. Some said they were exhausted from weeks of sleepless anxiety, waiting on the court ruling.
