County health care changes approved
Staff report, The Examiner Mar 26, 2008 6:00 AM (629 days ago)SAN FRANCISCO San Mateo County supervisors on Tuesday accepted a plan to improve the county’s health care system during the next 12 months. The Health System Redesign Initiative implementation plan maps out specific goals to make health care on the Peninsula more effective, reasonably priced and inclusive of vulnerable citizens. The plan follows up a strategic report accepted last month by supervisors outlining ways hospitals, insurance plans and county officials could work more efficiently together.
