Campbell leads Midshipmen to San Diego
Dave Carey, The Examiner Dec 4, 2007 1:00 AM (750 days ago)BALTIMORE Navy slotback Reggie Campbell isn’t scheduled to attend flight school in Pensacola, Fla. for another few months. But in the Midshipmen’s 38-3 win over Army on Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium, most of the 71,610 fans in attendance would swear Campbell was already traveling at semisonic speed. In the second quarter, Campbell dashed into the school record books when he ran untouched during a 98-yard kickoff return, the longest by any Midshipman in the team’s 128-year history.
