Spat with Oracle brings BEA down

(BEAS) finished Friday with its share price down 5.88 percent as the market continued to react to its sniping with Redwood City technology giant Oracle Corp. (ORCL), which is offering to buy it in a hostile takeover. BEA will let Oracle’s bid of $6.7 billion expire because it considers it too low, according to CNNMoney.com.
