Rumors have been flying about possible “90210” and “Melrose Place” crossover episodes on the CW network, but actress AnnaLynne McCord has her sights on “Gossip Girl.”
McCord, who plays Naomi Clark on “90210,” thinks her character would be a perfect match for Chuck Bass on “Gossip Girl,” played by Ed Westwick, according to an Eonline report.
"I think the Beverly Hills bad girl should team up with New York's bad boy and have some fun," said McCord (pictured; far right, top row). "It would be naughty-naughty."
A crossover episode that seems more likely, though, is for “90210” and “Melrose Place” as those shows have had ties in the past. The original “Melrose Place” was spun-off from the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” in the early 1990s, with a few crossover episodes featuring then teenager Kelly Taylor (played by Jennie Garth) and Jake Hanson (played by Grant Show).
Also, current “90210” cast member Ryan Eggold (pictured; far left, bottom row), who plays teacher Ryan Matthews, has been rumored to be among the cast of the new “Melrose Place.” The actor's name and character are both featured in the cast on IMDB.com.
McCord said producers have talked to the cast about “90210/Melrose Place” crossover episodes.
"We don't know who or where or what or when yet, but they want that very much,” the actress said in the Eonline report.
The season premiere of “90210” will air on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 8 p.m. (ET), followed by the premiere of the new “Melrose Place.”

I thought Nate wanted to go to USC in Gossip Girl but he is going elsewhere. Oh well. I guess a perfect storyline would be during spring break when the New Yorkers go to West Coast for a sure break and have Chuck Bass behave like Chuck Bass and have something with Naomi or Annie.
Oooh A Gossip Girl-90210 crossover would be the excellent. Blair versus Naomi, Blair would be angry to have Naomi take Chuck and the two have a cat fight. Serena teaching Annie that she isn't the only to have some one suffer, as Serena assumed she did some "lines" and a guy died while almost filming a provocative tape. and Annie in a hit and run accident. Perfect team up.
Have Nate and Liam interact. The producers should come up with an interesting storyline almost liek the soap opera crossovers.
Oooh, some good ideas! Thanks for sharing!
